Positiv: Ein wunderschöner, entspannter Aufenthalt in perfekter Lage mit tollem Ambiente.

Negativ: Es gab wirklich nichts, was mir nicht gefallen hätte – alles war durchdacht und angenehm.

Great

Positiv: The hostel is unusual- there are no staff present. We use a code etc to enter the property and room. Very easy to get into the property. We did not use the kitchen. Shared between other hostel residents. Coffee maker with a fee. Bathroom clean, lovely showers and private. Clean and spacious room. Small lamps and large overhead light. Towels. Windows. Mirror and coat rack. Room was more like a hotel room for a couple than a hostel room. We had one night here and it was located central Vienna. Great for a short city pit stop or longer stay.

Negativ: A little loud at night time when other residents came home- this did not affect our sleep but it is possible that this could cause issues especially as there are no staff on site.

Negativ: How you could hear everyone else’s rooms but good amount of privacy

Negativ: Could do with few more hangers, we only had 2 for 2 people, other then that absolutely great value for money. Please read the instructions you get before arriving it, it is easy to find it and to check in, just follow thd instructions step by step

I had a wonderful stay in this place. I'd recommend it for budget travelers.

Positiv: Excellent location in an upscale neighborhood (1st District). Short-walking distance to cafés, bars, restaurants, shopping stores, souvenir shops, metro stations, Mozart and Freud Museums, and about 15-minute walk to Hofburg Palace (which houses the Sisi Museum and Spanish Horse Riding School), Vienna Opera House, Museum of Modern Art, etc. Self check-in was easy (you will receive the instructions in your email). Furniture and full-kitchen appliances were available and functional. Some say this place is difficult to find, but it was really easy for me. TIP: This place is housed in the same huge building as the French Embassy in Vienna.

Negativ: Everything was okay with me. It's worth the price I paid. The bathrooms and toilets are shared but super clean. There were two bathrooms (one for men and one for women) and three shower rooms shared by all, but were always available.

Pleasant stay in the heart of Vienna

Positiv: The location is at the very heart of Vienna and we didn’t have to use public transport to get around. It’s a very safe area. The room and the common areas were very clean and well-kept. The whole property seems very new and the stay was pleasant. Our room was facing a backyard, so it was not noisy.

Negativ: The room was not equipped with an AC, which was not a problem for us as we visited in September, but might be an issue during the summer season. The biggest disappointment was the communication with the support staff. Before I arrived, I asked whether there was an iron we could borrow, and the answer was yes. Then, when I asked how can I get it after I arrived, the response was that someone else had it. Since it wasn’t urgent, I asked whether I could get the iron another day and the response was that there is no iron I could get. The issue was not the inability to borrow an iron in itself, but the fact that I got 3 different responses in 2 days.

Good value for money

Positiv: Clean room and facilities. Shower and bathroom facilities located downstairs - were clean and sufficient. Check in is done online, code access sent by email - very straight forward

Negativ: Room was a bit warm but overall not too bad

Positiv: Though there’s no air conditioning or private bathroom, this place feels just like a warm, cozy home. The kitchen and utensils are clean, and the lovely decorative paintings add charm. The guests here aren’t just passing through—every morning, we greeted each other, and everyone took the initiative to clean up after using shared facilities, maintaining the space together. Perhaps this is the difference between a hostel and a hotel. The amenities may be slightly simpler, but the warmth of home and human connection more than make up for it.
