Short Residence Hostel Vienna

Positiv: Das Hostel ist neu eröffnet worden, daher alles natürlich sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Die Zimmer sind eher klein gehalten, der allgemeine Bereich dafür recht großzügig angelegt. Duschen und WC sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Negativ: Die Eingangstür ist derzeit noch nicht verschließbar, dies wird jedoch sicherlich in Kürze geändert. Das Schloss mit Sicherheitscode ist bereits vorhanden, nur noch nicht aktiviert.

Great

Positiv: Great location near metro, tram and Hofer. Kitchen was very well stocked (although no microwave and limited knives) and washing machine easy to use.

Negativ: While we were able to lock our room door with the provided key, the main door from outside to communal areas had a combination lock. However, this code was not provided to staff or some guests, so we were not allowed to lock it (there is a sign the lock is broken, it isn’t we had no problems), we would have been a lot more comfortable had it been locked, especially at night.

Negativ: The bed was not comfortable, i nearly fall from it) Only one knife in the kitchen but for bread unfortunately. It's small hostel so it's noisy and hard to sleep because kitchen and hall are very close to the bedroom. No windows and comfortable tables((

Positiv: The kitchen van so equipped, everything was clean and nice.

Negativ: There was no trash bin in the room, only outside And the main entrance door was not able to be closed, so it was a little but cold

Positiv: Cosy place, clean room, clean bathrooms, a lot of kitchen gear available, very clear check-in instructions

Negativ: We checked in late in the evening and by that time there was no soap left in the bathroom

Positiv: Super quiet convenient. Super private comfy beds even when they’re bunk beds. Lovely atmosphere of ppl in the night and morning cooking their meals. Lovely gentle hi or night night !! And easy to get it and get keys etc. extremely great value for money !!

Great value for someone who wants to spend a weekend discovering Vienna

Positiv: The location of the hostel is great (25 minutes on foot from Schönbrunn Palace) and well-connected to the city and suburbs by two underground lines. The kitchen facilities are perfect for making breakfast (hot plate and frying pans provided) and coffee (there is a filter coffee machine). The beds are reasonably comfortable and the wifi works well. I was also impressed by the bathroom and shower facilities, which are kept very clean and have a good flow of hot water.

Negativ: There is no air conditioning, so during the summer months the rooms are very warm. During our stay the keypad used to unlock the front door was not working, so if a guest locked the door from the inside before going to bed, all other guests were locked out and had to wake the others to be let in. Though I'm sure this issue will be fixed soon, this definitely put a dampener on our visit.

Positiv: Very clean, seems very new - no effort to self check in

Negativ: Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the rooms - it was quite a hot summer day, the room heats up quite a bit - as it’s ground level opening the windows is not really an option, also no mosquito net at the window - please upgrade that (: small effort big win

Positiv: The neighborhood was nice and close to the Central Rail Station. It was easy to find the place. The accommodation was super comfortable, modern. It had all the necessary things in the kitchen, but I would offer to buy the microwave as well. It would be very helpful to warm up the food.

Negativ: There was a strong smell of cigarettes in the lounge zone. There's no window or A/C to refresh it, so we had to open the door in the yard while eating. I would also recommend you give instructions about your wifi (we couldn't find the router at first, we also spent a lot of time trying to insert a very long password). It would be easy for us to copy from the confirmation message. We received room #4, which was fine, but on the way back, we got room #2, and we had some difficulties with the locker. We had to lock the door with the key every single time, you need to fix it asap.

Positiv: every thing, the location and the facilities are all good

Negativ: the staff send me the wrong password at first, so I go to the wrong room and it was a little bit awkward.
