Excellent stay in Wien

Positiv: The property is located in a very nice area, really close to the city center. The hosts were very nice and helpful. The place does not offer a parking spot but the hosts will help you with needed advice for this. The apartment was clean and the rooms are very spacious. The apartment was heated when we arrived and we had no problems with heat at all during the stay (as i know this can be an issue in Wien).

Positiv: The apartment is indeed fully equipped. There was nothing missing. The location is great - just a few minutes walk from the subway. The owner agency is very responsive and willing to assist you if needed. Really great communication!

Negativ: There was an issue with closing the bathroom door but we reported it to the owner and they plan to fix it.

Positiv: The apartment had absolutely everything you needed. The bedroom on the courtyard side is very quiet. A minor issue was resolved very quickly by the staff.

The apartment was sufficient for our 9-day stay, and the location was very good.

Positiv: The apartment had clearly been renovated, since the building is an Altbau. The two bedrooms, with clean, laundered bedding, were well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The location was very convenient to both train and tram stops, and walking distance to many areas of Vienna. The kitchen was equipped with an induction range, dishwasher, large fridge, expresso machine, tea kettle, and microwave. The bathroom also had a washing machine with laundry detergent provided. I'd recommend posting instructions for recycling, since non-Austrians might not be aware of the strict rules for recycling household waste.

Negativ: The elevator was out of service the entire time - thankfully, the apartment was only one floor up. There were dead/dying plants in the apartment, which should be removed. The hallway just outside the apartment's front door was being used by unknown persons as a smoking area - lots of cigarette butts and ash on the window sill, with smoke permeating the apartment, which was very unpleasant. Minimal crockery (3 dinner plates, and 4 each of everything else, including cutlery), would not work for a long stay or for more than two persons, as it woul require frequent use of the dishwasher. The two non-stick pans were no longer non-stick, and some of the saucepans were not suitable for the induction stove. The bathroom would not close due to a badly warped door frame. A towel holder in the WC would be highly recommended for purposes of good hygiene.
